Just sitting here thinking IF I COULD HAVE ONE MOMENT IN TIME what would it be. Well after thinking about it I would like it to be the first day I met my parents.
I would love to have hear that conversation. There are so many things I would love to have heard them say. The questions they must have asked each other. What would my response be to them. Did they think I was the most beautiful child they had ever seen or did they say the opposite. Did they think that I would turn out as they expected. When they both look at me were they happy I was here. Hope that the choices I will make in the coming years be more good that bad.
Would me being able to hear and remember that conversation have changed my life alot or a little.
WHAT WOULD BE YOUR MOMENT?

Today started out ok I walked the dog had coffee with my husband and the day was going good. Until I was leaving for work and there she was the same person I asked to move from in front of my residence was still there. (oh yea I had asked her to moved earlier when I was bringing my dog out). Let me just set this up for u I open my door to a smell of cheap spray and her about to change clothes and whatever else. I walked the dog and before going back into the house I asked her to leave. She replied ok I’m sorry and began to pack up her things. I thought that was the end of it until I walked out of my door to leave for work. Low an behold she’s still there. After we exchange words. I got in my car and left. Letting her know that I she had better not be there when I return whether in five hours or five minutes.
My problem now is what was I upset about,was it her wasteing her life,her bringing her problem to my doorstep. her trying to play crazy was she crazy. Or am I just fed up with the bullcrap.
I really don’t know what will happen if I get home and she’s still there. I know what I would like to do, but of course I would be wrong because they have so reasons why. I should have let it go. Anyway I got another cup of coffee and trying to get this day started again

We as women should have two things in our closet CLOTHES and a MIRROR. We can’t get on the younger females and the way they dress if we don’t set a example. There are clothes we as older females just shouldn’t wear (ever). What makes us think that all of of can wear low rider and mid-tops(we can’t). Dresses that show everthing but the kitchen sink. Use that mirror when you get dressed in the morning. Look twice at yourself in the evening.

My father always said “THE LESS A MAN SEES THE MORE CURIOUS HE BECOMES”.

All I’m saying is LOOK IN THE MIRROR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do you do on your BIRTHDAY. Well I know what I would like to do:
1- Have the best cup of coffee
2-Take my time getting dress and just do things for me
3- Walk my big ass dog
4- Have my favorite salid for dinner
5- While watching anything I want on TV
6- Not answer my phone
7- Have get sex and a wonderful bath afterwards and drift off into a pleasant good night sleep

WAIT I DO THIS EVERDAY HUMMMM WISHES DO COME TRUE HAPPY BIRTHADY TO ME

I was like everyone else watching MJ’s memorial when a reporter interviewed a fan.

She proudly said “I sold every thing in my house just to be here today”. I turned around and said ” THAT B—CH is crazy”.

Here’s this black women taking her entire life apart for someone else child. 

So here’s my question: WHAT WOULD YOU SELL EVERYTHING FOR ?

I really want you to tell me. Please let me know.

It amazes me how people go threw the entire day and never say THANK YOU.

No I’m not talking about when someone holds the door, makes photo copy or even hands you something.

I’m talking about when you notice that cetain little thing that someone has done for you and the giver does say a word about it. Do you as the receiver ever stop and think that in the middle of what the giver was doing you came into their mind/heart/thoughts.

THANK YOU - Two very powerful words use them wisely

I watch the show from beginning to end and it was wrong. Everyone was in a hurry to let their feeling known. We all loved MJ in our own special way, what I saw last night wasn’t about the MJ it was about BET.

For BET to mixed the events was totally wrong.

Not to down play MJ. But I don’t feel what BET did was a tribute to anyone except BET ratings.( Alot of viewers didn’t care for  what you did)

It’s very few times in ones life that they are recognized for their achievements. BET should have let those artist have their moment. By keeping the program as it was. If they wanted to speak it would have been their choice.

There were sincere moments  but if BET had waited I believe they would have truly gotten from the fans, friends, viewers the moment that  MJ touch them and how.

The show was poorly put together. For them to allow Lil Wayne to sing a song like he did with little girls on stage dancing is just degrading, pants hanging,

 BET YOU CALL THAT A TRIBUTE

BET it’s your station, you’er not pressed  for a time slot.

My question:   WHAT WAS THE HURRY?

Being from the old school I have to say that I was told by my grandmother/mom that leaving to go to a better place is something we should all sing about.

When I lost my father I couldn’t understand why my mom was singing, play his music and cooking some of his favorite foods. It wasn’t until we were alone that she said:

Me and Danny live 50 years of love, sharing, raising you children the happiest moments of our lives together. He gone to wait for me so we can continue our happiness.

Then she said something that really stunned me.

She said: I hope I’m as lucky as your father was, When I asked her why she simply said:

I never want to out live you kids, that’s the worst pain I could ever feel.

So Mrs. Jackson I know there are no words that may be able to comfort you at this time, but please believe my heart and prays are with you and I hope you never have to feel this pain ever again.

I was walking from the bank and and had the strangest feeling.  I realized that i was feeling extra good about myself.  I liked what i was wearing, it was a great hair day, and i was walking with more swagga than usual.

 There are women in my life that inspire me. My mother of course or “MA” as her children call her.  Hell! the woman raised eighteen (18) children and was married for 50 years to the same man (my dad).  The other is a youngster; she just moved into a new house.

Anyway while walking the with combination of “MA”/Michelle I began to realize just how much the old and the new are the same.

“MA” taught me values, manners, morals, style, caring, etc.  Michelle proved that female swagga is really good! (she has a “MA” too!)

Both “MA” and Michelle are First Ladies for alot of reason

1- They both know who they are

2- The understand their mates

3- The lead lives

4- They are always prepared but they learned how to become prepared

5- THEY PASS ON WHAT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO THEM!

6- Most of all they love when you’re right

7- The love you when you are wrong!

8- most of all……THEY TEACH YOU THE DIFFERENCE

I say all of this to say that I’m so proud that I’m my husbands “MA”/Michelle.

I really don’t want to complain about anything today. There’s no reason to complain about how the dressing there little girls like grown ass women. Or the fact that grown ass women are running around with clothes to tight, hair to weaved, nails to long, and shipping the kids to the babysitter(if there is one) to get a man (boy).

I won’t complain today that finally the rain has stopped (but remember last summer). I won’t complain today.Over all what’s there to complain about?
